LGBTQ+ Inclusivity Training, Education, and Resources

So, you are an enthusiastic supporter of marriage equality and you want to make sure you've educated yourself before you work with LGBTQ+ clients? Fabulous! You're in the right place.

First, if you haven’t already gotten some overall inclusivity training to learn what all the LGBTQ+ letters stand for, gender neutral alternatives to gendered wedding terms, and how to ask for and use pronouns correctly, then you need to take a general course on this before I can help you. I highly recommend the Certified Inclusive Professional training offered by Equally Wed.

Next, you should have your website, contracts, and all client-facing materials reviewed for representation and inclusive language. You should really also do this for your back-end materials, such as forms, checklists, job sheets, and any other documents to ensure you’re putting this into practice across the board. That’s where I come in!

Here are the material review packages I currently offer:

Website Inclusivity Review

I will carefully review your website (up to 8 pages/posts) and point out places where inclusive language is needed or recommended, as well as other things you can do to make sure this critical first impression of your brand aligns with your inclusive values.

You will receive a recorded video with voiceover walking you through my candid experience of your website and my suggested changes so that you have a reference for the changes to consider.

A 15-minute follow up call, which may be used for any questions you may have or to review your changes, is included.

$575. Additional website pages or blog posts may be added for $50/page.

Contract & Document Inclusivity Review

I will carefully review your contract and client-facing documents (up to 15 pages), such as questionnaires, intake forms, and run-of-day forms like shot lists, music selection lists, etc. for inclusive language.

You will receive redlined/marked up documents with my suggestions and comments. A 15-minute follow up call, which may be used for any questions you may have or to review your changes, is included.
